AACRAO is spearheading many transfer-related initiatives. This includes the updated Joint Statement on the Transfer and Award of Credit, the Reverse Transfer Efficiency Act of 2017 (H.R. 3774), and A Guide to Best Practices: Awarding Transfer and Prior Learning Credit. Produced by a work group, the Guide provides recommendations for developing a comprehensive, institutional transfer credit policy. Additionally, a Transfer Student Bill of Rights will be shared, outlining various rights and benefits that should be afforded to transfer students. AACRAO members can also expect a Guide to Best Practices: Articulation Agreements, a workgroup production, as well as a Guide for Military Credit.
