AACRAO Hill Day

The AACRAO Government Relations team will be hosting an AACRAO Hill Day, where members are invited to walk the halls of Congress and talk with different congressional aides about your work and to share your perspective, as practitioners, on how policy impacts the work you do on a daily basis.

Please note that not not all who apply will be invited. Due to the nature of the House and Senate Education Committee make-up and representation, some states will be provided stronger consideration since a Member of Congress may sit on this committee. AACRAO staff will handle the coordination of all visits. AACRAO will pay for all those who are selected to fly to Washington on Wednesday, June 20, and will cover their room stay for at least June 20-June 21. If you cannot arrive on June 20, you will not be considered unless you can arrive in Washington before 6 AM on Thursday June 21.

Deadline: May 16, 2018
