AACRAO scholarships

Professional development often requires funds, whether it be to travel to an AACRAO meeting, or funds to pursue research and projects. AACRAO is constantly seeking to enrich opportunities for our members. Apply to one of our scholarships today.

The Conner Scholarship

One of the top reasons our members can't attend our Annual Meeting is due to lack of institutional financial support. But it doesn't have to be that way - apply for the Conner Fund for a chance to receive complimentary registration to our largest event of the year, gaining the chance to learn, network and develop.

With up to only ten slots available out of 11,000 members, the Conner Scholarship is highly selective.

Criteria
Conner Scholarship recipients must be:
  • employed by an AACRAO member institution, or
  • a student studying/working at a member institution

Evaluation Process
The Awards Committee will review applications for:
  • strength of personal statement
  • strength of references
  • engagement with AACRAO
  • diversity as defined by geographic region, institutional size and type, and gender, race, ethnicity, and demonstrated leadership characteristics of applicant
the Awards committee will give preference to first time attendees
Application Process
Applicants must submit:
  • a personal statement up to 300 words describing:
    • why you have chosen enrollment and academic services as your profession as well as
