The challenges of the past year have spurred Cambridge Assessment to leverage its strengths—a global network, robust curriculum, and deep assessment expertise—to develop innovative strategies that support students, schools, and higher education both during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.

As a worldwide, not-for-profit education organization, Cambridge Assessment, a part of the University of Cambridge, provides world-class qualifications and education programs that give learners the confidence to demonstrate and fulfill their potential.

Cambridge International and Cambridge English, both departments of Cambridge Assessment, have partnered in North America to provide colleges and universities with information on students who take our courses and exams. When travel restrictions limited our ability to meet with colleges and universities in person this year, we expanded online and electronic services to U.S. higher education.

In the last year, Cambridge International and Cambridge English collaborated to get our qualifications represented in the Common Application and Coalition Applications.

Cambridge International has also launched an online transcript service for U.S. students’ AS & A Level transcripts; online transcript delivery for U.S. higher education; as well as new web resources for U.S. colleges and universities.

Cambridge English Qualifications for higher education are the most rigorous and longest established English proficiency examinations in the world. Unlike other proficiency exams, they are not offered on demand. Rather, they are designed to be incorporated into English curricula at schools around the world to confirm the learning outcomes of English courses. In addition, Cambridge English certifications don’t expire and are on par with credentials such as Cambridge International AS & A Level courses and exams.

Millions of students in the U.S. and around the world apply to higher education with qualifications from Cambridge English and Cambridge International each year, and we are dedicated to supporting them and the institutions they attend.

Join us to learn how Cambridge International and Cambridge English met the challenges of the pandemic with innovative and sustainable policies, data, and services for U.S. colleges and universities.
