fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

Digital Transformation: The Next Frontier of SEM

September 27, 2022

Free Webinar | 9/27/22 | 2:00 - 3:00 PM ET

Students and their families, staff, faculty, and our external stakeholders live in a daily world of digital access and convenience. We shop, travel, communicate, and entertain ourselves on smartphones and tablets. How do we transform our institutions and approaches to meet these expectations, and at the same time increase student engagement? How can digital approaches to recruitment and marketing help us to have a more distinctive identity in an increasingly crowded space?

This webinar will define digital transformation and digital maturity, so that we can share a common understanding of them, then present a model for digital maturity in SEM. It will offer key factors for assessing digital maturity in both recruitment and admissions, and persistence, success, and completion.

Bring your questions, comments, and ideas to the discussion during this interactive and thought-provoking webinar.
