As a voluntary member association, AACRAO thrives on member engagement. In previous years, we have struggled to reach the industry standard of 10 percent member engagement in leadership elections even with the implementation of electronic voting and a competitive slate.

This year, AACRAO combined voting with its signature initiative AACRAO Gives. Each institutional member vote earned money for an AACRAO Gives fund. With voter turnout at the highest levels seen in years, nearly 8 percent, AACRAO is pleased to announce our members raised nearly $3500 in contribution to these member development funds.

Congratulations to our new leaders, men and women who will navigate issues affecting both the membership and Higher Education at large.
