For many students, the journey through higher education often includes navigating the complexities of transferring from one college or university to another. This transition can be fraught with uncertainty and confusion, but there are dedicated professionals who work tirelessly to make that journey simpler, more seamless, and offer support.

National Transfer Student Week, created by NISTS and NYSTAA, is an annual event created to celebrate transfer students and the professionals who support them on their journeys. This year, Transfer Student Week will take place October 16 – 20 with the theme “Full Steam Ahead!”

To support this initiative, CollegeSource, a leading provider of transfer and degree achievement solutions, is offering a free week-long webinar series to bring together advocates to elevate the conversation around transfer. These community experts will share their knowledge, insights, and successes in presentations and panel sessions daily at 1 p.m. Eastern. The CollegeSource Transfer Week Webinar Series aims to foster thoughtful and productive conversations around streamlining the transfer process, reducing barriers, leveraging cutting-edge technology, improving processes, helping students efficiently achieve their academic and career goals, and more.

This year’s lineup includes:

  • Promoting Diverse Enrollment in Today’s Higher Ed Landscape: Transfer Can Help!
Dena Lawrence, Ed.M. and Gina Modica, M.A., Illinois MyCreditsTransfer; Holly Pflum, M.S., University of Illinois System
