The U.S. Education Department, in co-sponsorship with AACRAO and the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NASFAA), will hold the second half of a joint webinar series tomorrow and Thursday on the requirements related to the implementation of the 150% time limit for a student to receive Direct Subsidized Loans. Specifically, these webinars will focus on new requirements and enhancements to the National Student Loan Data System (NSLDS) enrollment reporting process.
Critical Details to Proper Program-Level Enrollment Reporting
The 90-minute webinar will provide detailed information on the new enrollment reporting file layouts schools must use to report program-level enrollment information to the Department, information about special programs and exceptions, and a discussion of how NSLDS will use the institutionally reported program-level enrollment information in support of the 150% limit.
The webinar will be offered TOMORROW -- Wednesday, July 30, 2014 -- and repeated on Thursday, July 31, 2014. The sessions will begin at 1:30 P.M. (ET) starting with a presentation of approximately one hour followed by a Q&A period.
Advance registration is required for this training and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To allow for as many participants as possible, we strongly encourage groups to view the webinar from a single location if accommodations allow. If viewing as a group, only one person from the group needs to register. Do not miss the opportunity to share your comments with webinar presenters during the live Q&A.
