fafsa calendar information

Beginning on Oct. 1, 2016, students will be able to fill out the FAFSA for the 2017–18 school year. (In the past, they had to wait until January 1). In addition, applicants will no longer need to estimate income and tax information and will be able to retrieve their data directly from the IRS, right from the first day the FAFSA is available. Students also will have information about their Expected Family Contributions earlier, helping them as they’re going through the college application and selection process.

AAPI Caucus Chat: Everything Everywhere All at Once

May 2, 2023

May 2, 2023 | 2:00-3:00 pm ET

Join the AAPI Caucus this Asian American History Month for an informal movie discussion centered on the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once. There are many themes that could be explored in this award-winning sci-fi adventure through multiple dimensions. The movie was simultaneously hilarious, heartbreaking and elevating while featuring AAPI artists both on and off screen. During this session, we will focus on three areas: representation, microaggressions, and generational trauma. Our discussion will center on the experiences of AAPI administrators in higher education spaces.  The session will allow for participant interaction and will not be recorded. Please plan to watch (or re-watch) the movie prior to our session so that we can have a meaningful dialogue: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6710474/. This event will not be recorded.
