The Institute of International Education (IIE) is calling on AACRAO members to assist with its annual census of international students in the United States. Open Doors is regarded as a comprehensive information resource on international students and scholars in the United States and on U.S. students studying abroad.

IIE is pleased to announce the launch of the International Students with Disabilities Survey conducted with the support of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State. The purpose of the survey is to identify the availability of data collected and reported on international students with disabilities and how higher education institutions support these students.

Information from AACRAO membership helps support the robust data set that underlies these reports. Your institution's participation is helpful and we encourage you to participate in the International Students with Disabilities Survey (deadline August 25, 2022), in support of our colleagues at IIE.

About the IIE

The IIE believes that when education transcends borders, it opens minds, and enables people to go beyond building connections to solving problems together. Their vision is a peaceful, equitable world enriched by the international exchange of ideas and greater understanding between people and cultures.

For any questions regarding the IIE, their research, or this survey please contact opendoors@iie.org.
