Are you an educator seeking to broaden your horizons and gain invaluable insights into international education systems? If so, this could be the year you embark on an extraordinary journey through the Baden-Württemberg Seminar. Organized by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Arts Baden-Württemberg, Germany, in collaboration with AACRAO and NAFSA, this immersive seminar offers a unique opportunity to engage with educators from a range of institutions and explore the German educational landscape. With Stuttgart serving as the host city, the 2024 Baden-Württemberg Seminar promises to be an unforgettable adventure.

A Window into the German Educational System

During the seminar, which runs from Sunday, October 20 to Saturday, October 26, 2024, participants will delve into the intricacies of the German educational system. You'll have the chance to compare and contrast it with the American system, gaining a deeper understanding of student exchange processes and cross-cultural collaborations. The seminar will take you on a journey through various educational institutions, from primary schools to universities, allowing you to interact with administrators and educators at each level.

An All-Encompassing Experience

Beyond the educational insights, the Baden-Württemberg Seminar offers a truly immersive experience. With lodging, most meals, and program-sponsored travel covered by the Ministry of Baden-Württemberg, your institution's only responsibility is covering the cost of travel to and from Germany. This seminar is a rare opportunity to explore a new culture, forge international connections, and return with a wealth of knowledge to share with your institution's students.

Eligibility and Application Process

Study abroad officers, international student advisers, admissions officers, registrars, and any staff responsible for postsecondary-level exchanges or institutional relationships are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be members of either AACRAO or NAFSA, and only one application per institution will be considered. The application process requires a CV or resume, as well as a letter of support from your supervisor.

Applications for the 2024 Baden-Württemberg Seminar open on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, and the deadline for submissions is June 24, 2024. Don't miss this opportunity – start your application today and unlock a transformative cross-cultural experience!
