Sherry Waldon Wells is retiring as Assistant Vice Provost at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas State University, a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Doctor of Education degree from Lamar University. Dr. Wells is completing her service as Vice President for Admissions and Enrollment Management on the AACRAO Board of Directors. She is a Director/Past President of Spindletop Rotary Club, served on the Enrollment Services Efficiency Committee for the Texas Council of Public University Presidents & Chancellors, chaired the region 5 Higher Education Regional Council, and is a certified Long Term Care Ombudsman for the State of Texas. She also is a member of SACRAO, TACRAO, Texas Distance Learning Association, Texas Women in Higher Education, Phi Alpha Theta, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
