Seth is the former Assistant Vice President for Undergraduate Recruitment and Strategy at the University of Baltimore. During his more than 20 years in higher education, he has held leadership positions in orientation, freshman and transfer admissions,
community college relations, enrollment technology, military students engagement, prior learning assessment, and curriculum development. He is a perennial presenter at AACRAO Annual Meetings and the Tech/Transfer Conference, and presents on transfer-related
webinars for multiple organizations. He coordinated the workgroups that published A Guide to Best Practices: Awarding Transfer and Prior Learning Credit, the Transfer Student and Transfer Institution Bill of Rights, and the Guide to Best Practices: Articulation Agreements.
He is currently the President of CAPACRAO and outgoing Program Chair for the 2020 AACRAO Annual Meeting. Seth earned his MBA from the University of Maryland University College, and his B.S. in Sociology from the University of Maryland College
He has worked at both public two- and four-year institutions, and at both a national association and a state-system office. He was the program chair for the 2019 annual conference (New Orleans would have been so much fun!), and has served as Vice
President and President of CAPACRAO, the Chesapeake and Potomac Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers. He has an unnatural obsession with coffee and the Golden Girls, and lives in Maryland with his husband, daughter, and dog.
