University Registrar, Kent State University

I am a First-Generation College graduate.  I received two associate degrees from Sinclair Community College, a bachelor’s degree from Park University, a master’s degree from Cleveland State University, and I am pursuing a doctoral degree from Kent State University with an anticipated completion of May 2025.

I am currently the University Registrar at Kent State University.  I have been with Kent State for the past year and have over twenty-one years of experience in Higher Education.  During my professional career in higher education, I have held positions in an Admissions Office, Registrar Office, College Information Center and have interned in a Financial Aid Office.  Additionally, I have experience working at both the University and Community College levels.

My work experience has given me familiarity with many of the challenging issues facing higher education today, including accessibility for the underserved, the need for diversity, the rapid advancement of learning technology, the increased demand for distance learning, and the importance of community and alumni support.  I am committed to student success and completion.

Additionally, outside of my traditional work responsibilities I am involved with both OACRAO (Ohio) and AACRAO.  Currently for AACRAO, I serve as a Co-Chair for the LGBTQIA+ Caucus.   I also served as the Chair for the Community College Issues Group.   For OACRAO, I have served as the Vice President of Program, President Elect, President, Past President, Chaired Program committees and have served as Co-Chair for the Local Arrangements Committee.   I have presented at both AACRAO and OACRAO.
