Dr. Cedric Howard adds to AACRAO’s diverse consulting expertise with more than 21 years of leadership in the fields of student affairs and enrollment services, eighteen of which as a senior/chief officer level. Dr. Howard currently serves as the Vice President of the University of Northern Colorado. Prior to that, as Vice President for Enrollment and Student Services at the State University of New York at Fredonia, Dr. Howard led a team of student services professionals to extraordinary heights. After Dr. Howard's arrival in 2016, using a SEM framework, SUNY Fredonia increased first-year student enrollment by more than 30%. Prior to his position at SUNY Fredonia, Dr. Howard served as the Vice-Chancellor for Student and Enrollment Services at the University of Washington Tacoma, where overall campus enrollment more than doubled under his leadership.Throughout Dr. Howard’s career, he has established best practice partnerships with high schools, community organizations, and various military installments. Also, he has received national recognition for his work in both enrollment management and student affairs professions.
