Carrie D. Jeffers, Ph.D.

Registrar and Director of Enrollment Services, Macomb Community College

2021 AACRAO Elections - Nominations and Elections Candidate

I am running for this position to expand my involvement with AACRAO as I have been heavily involved with my state ACRAO for many years and I am looking to broaden my professional expeirence. I have been engaged with AACRAO through presentations, a presenter in webinars as well a co-authoring a chapter in the State & Regional Associate Guide. I have experience with nominations having been the chair of the nominations committee and an active nominations committee member with Michigan ACRAO due to my leadership role. I believe that is it essential is gathering a broad array of candidates from across the states, regions in order to have representation that is passionate, engaged and willing to lead AACRAO to new heights as the landscape of our work changes. I feel that over my higher education career, I have met and developed wonderful relationships with people and can be an assest to seeking out possible candidates for leadership roles with AACRAO by being a part of the Nominations & Elections Committee.
