Annetta joined AACRAO in 2008 in the role of Senior Evaluator and Training Coordinator, and is currently the Director for Content and Curriculum. Annetta has worked in the field of international education for over 20 years in various positions at both public and private institutions in international admissions and credential evaluation, student services and academic management. She has presented at AACRAO, NAFSA, TAICEP, AIEA,  AICE and EAIE conferences.

In her current role with AACRAO, Annetta focuses on strengthening AACRAO's professional development initiatives for membership, including the design and production of on-demand courses, virtual training opportunities, as well as supporting AACRAO's traditional in-person trainings. 

In addition, her professional research areas include supporting access to higher education for refugee and vulnerable persons. She has worked with EducationUSA, Institute for International Education (IIE), U.C. Davis and Rutgers University Newark on various initiatives supporting access to higher education for displaced and vulnerable persons, including the Article 26 Backpack™ and the University Alliance for Refugees and At-Risk Migrants (UARRM). She currently serves as a Research Affiliate for U.C. Davis.
 
Annetta holds a B.A. in Music from the University of New Mexico, M.A. in Adult Education from San Francisco State University, and an Ed.M. in Human Resource Development from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Annetta's Role at AACRAO

Annetta oversees the development and implementation of AACRAO's adult education strategy and offerings to include faculty recruitment and training, and leads the C&C department in the design of custom training modules.
