About the Job

POSITION SUMMARY
The Impact & Engagement Department is responsible for the management of virtual member engagement and provides reporting and data analysis on association offerings. The team uses data, technology, and analytics to optimize the performance of the association. The Community & Volunteer Intern supports the administrative and operational support needs of the Impact & Engagement department. This a hybrid position, will not exceed 30 hours/week, and pays $20 - $23/hour.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Gather information to help build out the member story, including researching and recording historical member records
  • Coordinate and manage teleconferences, meetings, and write minutes.
  • Moderate virtual community gatherings by monitoring chat, providing on-time links and resource, and more - Zoom
  • Assist with the maintenance of the AACRAO Exchange Community platform - Higher Logic.
  • Update community rosters in Salesforce and/or the AACRAO Exchange.
  • Assist with managing member engagement data
  • Manage team projects in association project management tool - Asana
  • Other duties as assigned.

      THE IDEAL CANDIDATE 

      The mission of the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers is to serve and advance higher education by providing leadership in academic and enrollment services. The Community and Volunteer Intern is a part-time position that is vital in assisting supporting this mission. 


      KNOWLEDGE, REQUIRED AND PREFERRED SKILLS
      • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, including writing, oral, copyediting, and proofreading skills.
      • Models a mature and professional demeanor.
      • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of team members.
      • Tech savvy and willing to learn new platforms such as Asana, Higher Logic or Salesforce. Preference given to those with experience using Zoom and G Suite.
      • Organized, detail oriented and deadline oriented
