Fresno State University received a $2.5 million grant to launch a program to help veterans achieve a higher education degree and transition back into civilian life, reported ABC News.
The university's new Student Support Services Veterans Program is expected to help 120 students by providing them with counselors, mentors, and academic advisors. Veterans can apply by Sept. 1.
