Dr. Rodney Parks, University Registrar and Assistant to the Provost, Jess Parrish, Assistant Registrar for Communications and Blake Whitesell, a former undergraduate research assistant in the Office of Registrar at Elon University in Elon, North Carolina, co-authored an article in AACRAO’s September 2017 College & University Journal. The article titled "Seeing the Forest and the Trees: Mapping Curricula to Enhance Student Success" focuses on how registrars sometimes find it difficult to “untangle the complex and connected web of institutional curriculum” that many higher education institutions strive for. The article then goes on to talk about a registrar project created by Elon students to help academic departments identify administrative barriers to student success.
