Fees
Online registration is preferred for the SEM Conference. Information about paper registration can be found, below. Please take note of all posted deadlines regarding refunds and postmark requirements for paper registrations. Payment is due at the time of registration; invoices and purchase requests are not provided for meeting or workshop registration.

Refunds & Substitutions
All changes, substitutions, and cancellations must be made in writing and emailed to meetings@aacrao.org. Voicemail changes, substitutions, and cancellations will not be accepted. There is no penalty if the substitute is employed by the same institution as the original registrant. Membership status will be verified and additional fees will be assessed as appropriate.
Cancellation and Refund Deadlines for the SEM Conference
Refund requests will be considered based on the following deadlines. Refunds will be credited in the manner paid. Allow up to 30 days after the meeting to receive your refund.
- On or Before September 18, 2026: no penalty for cancellation; refund given
- On September 19 – October 2, 2026: refund given minus a $200 administrative fee
- On or After October 3, 2026: No refunds of any fees paid
These terms and conditions apply to digital and paper registrations received via mail or fax. If the meeting is canceled or converted to an all-virtual delivery, registrants will be notified in advance.
Member and Non-Member Rates
To qualify for the institutional member rate, the registrant must be employed by a member institution, an organizational member, or an individual member. If you have questions about your membership status, please contact membership@aacrao.org.
Registrants affiliated with a non-institutional organization will be reclassified as a “Corporate Attendee” and will be required to pay the appropriate fees. Contact corporates@aacrao.org for more information about Corporate Membership and participation at AACRAO events.
Discounts
- Students wishing to attend the conference at a 50% discounted rate must complete and submit a Student Waiver Form to the Meetings department for approval before registering for the SEM Conference.
- Institutional Presenters receive a 25% discount on registration for the full SEM Conference. Discounts are not given for one-day passes.
Pre-Conference Workshops
These Workshops require an additional fee. Registration for the SEM Conference is not required to register for a pre-conference workshop.
Guest Passes
Guest Passes are available for $300 for each additional guest. Guest Pass attendees are limited to the Exhibit Hall and may not attend sessions. Professional colleagues are expected to register for the conference; access sharing is not permitted.

Payment for Paper Registrations
A check or money order MUST accompany paper registration forms. Payment with credit cards will only be accepted through online registration. Wire payments can also be accepted; contact meetings@aacrao.org for more information about submitting wire payment for meeting registration.
- Funds must be in US dollars (USD). Checks or money orders should be made payable to AACRAO (purchase orders will not be accepted)
- Include the name of the event and the name(s) of the registrant(s) in the check Memo
- Payments via check, money order, or wire for the FLASH SALE must be received at the AACRAO Office by October 22, 2026
- Forms received without payment will not be processed
For accounting purposes, the AACRAO Federal Tax ID number is 52-2274900
Due to PCI security compliance, emailed registration forms that include credit card details will be destroyed and the form will not be processed.
Substitutions, Cancellations,
