OVERVIEW:
An Introduction to the Higher Education Compliance Alliance www.higheredcompliance.org
Higher education professionals are impacted by hundreds of federal laws and regulations - compliance issues are a critical priority on college campuses - and present a number of challenges. As the list of laws and regulations grows, so does the need for higher education associations to aggregate their efforts to help administrators manage their compliance obligations.
Comprised of more than 29 associations, the Higher Education Compliance Alliance provides a centralized repository of information and resources for compliance with federal laws and regulations that affect colleges and universities, broken down by topical area.
This webinar will introduce attendees to the Compliance Alliance website (www.higheredcompliance.org), and address topics including:
- How did the multiple associations come together to create the Higher Education Compliance Alliance?
- Who are the members?
- What resources are available on the website?
- What is the best way to keep up to date with recent compliance news and resources?
There will also be time provided at the end of the webinar for Q & A. Registration for the live session is limited to the first 200 individuals determined on a first come basis. The archive will be available 30 min after the conclusion of the live session.
