cruz@2xMelissa Cruz, Ph.D., has more than 16 years of experience in higher education spanning enrollment management of undergraduate, non-traditional undergraduate, and graduate students at Mercer University in Georgia. A large span of her time at Mercer has centered on developing and implementing advising procedures, orientation programs, on-boarding, and retention initiatives as well as budget analysis of programs and departments. Her career has also included advising and teaching of adult undergraduate students. Dr. Cruz’s research has led to presentations at national conferences and has served as faculty for AACRAO’s SEM Endorsement Program, and she currently serves as a Public Policy Committee member.
