Wendy L. Bolyard, Ph.D, has worked in graduate higher education for more than 20 years. She has successfully led volunteer teams of faculty and staff to achieve strategic enrollment goals. In her current role as Director of Graduate Enrollment Management at the University of Denver, Dr. Bolyard is a champion for the development of technology infrastructure to support automation of routine tasks and report on performance. She also works with graduate programs to develop best practices in recruiting, admissions, and financial aid leveraging. Dr. Bolyard is an adjunct instructor at the University of Denver, teaching in the areas of organizational behavior, policy research and analysis, leadership, and systems thinking.

Dr. Bolyard has consulted with numerous higher education institutions on performance management and constituent relationship management. She has worked for a Fortune 500 company, a small nonprofit organization, as well as major public research universities before joining the University of Denver. She sat on the Non-Profit Advisory Board at the University of Central Florida and is currently on the board of directors of a small, Christian mission organization. Eliminating the strategy–execution chasm is of particular interest to Dr. Bolyard, and she finds creating a learning organization and fostering a culture conducive to leadership development and high performance are keys to success.

In 2006, Dr. Bolyard received her Ph.D. in Public Affairs from the University of Central Florida. In addition, she holds a B.S.J. and M.A. from West Virginia University.
