Reduced Credit Bachelor's Degree

May 26, 2026

May 26, 2026 | 2:00-3:00 pm ET

This webinar introduces the emerging reduced credit bachelor’s degree model, exploring how institutions are designing and implementing accelerated pathways while maintaining academic quality and compliance. Participants will gain insight into how students are admitted into these programs and how transfer credit is evaluated and applied within compressed timelines. The webinar will also examine how institutions ensure accurate academic records including degree audit configuration, transcript articulation, and student information system alignment. Drawing on practices, the session will highlight both the benefits—such as reduced time-to-degree, cost savings, and improved student mobility—and the challenges, including policy complexity, workload implications, and transfer articulation issues. Attendees will leave with a practical understanding of institutional experiences, key considerations, and lessons learned when implementing or evaluating reduced credit bachelor’s degree programs.
