Multiple Manitoba universities and colleges have closed their doors or rescheduled exams on Thursday due to the blizzard slamming the province.
The University of Manitoba announced it was closed on Thursday, with all exams scheduled for Thursday being rescheduled to Saturday, Dec. 20 at the same times and locations.
In a statement, the U of M said those who cannot attend on Saturday should speak with their professors or faculty.
The University of Winnipeg also closed its doors Thursday due to the weather and postponed exams. A directory for students to find out updated exam times can be found on the University’s website.
RRC Polytech closed for classes on Thursday, a decision impacting all campuses (Notre Dame, Exchange District and Stevenson campuses).
Brandon University is planning to reopen its campus in Brandon at noon, with exams beginning at 2 p.m. Exams scheduled for Wednesday evening will now take place Thursday at 7 p.m. in the same locations. Thursday morning exams will take place Friday at 2 p.m.
Brandon University said students and staff at the Winnipeg campus will follow the status of the University of Winnipeg.
