The Colombian Institute for the Evaluation of Education (Icfes) officially announced an extension of the registration deadlines for the Saber Pro and Saber TyT tests corresponding to the first semester of 2026.
Initially, the regular registration and payment process was scheduled to end on February 6. However, after analyzing the flow of registrations and with the aim of facilitating the process for Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) and students, the entity decided to extend the timeframe.
With this modification, the new deadline for registration and ordinary collection is extended until Friday, February 13, 2026.
Key change will help thousands of students across the country
The Icfes emphasized that this measure seeks to mitigate technical or administrative setbacks that both universities and students may have experienced during the first weeks of the year.
It is worth remembering that the presentation of these tests is a legal mandate and a mandatory requirement for all students who have passed at least 75% of the academic credits of their respective undergraduate programs (professional, technical or technological).

Despite the adjustment in the initial registration stage, Icfes has confirmed that the rest of the key dates of the process remain as planned so as not to affect the national logistics of application.
