With a five-year sponsorship agreement, AACRAO and CollegeSource have extended their already strong partnership well into the next decade.

"CollegeSource has partnered with us since the early 70’s," said AACRAO Associate Executive Director Janie Barnett. "Owner Harry Cooper has focused on helping institutions and students through forward thinking products. Harry’s niece Kerry Cooper has continued that mission with amazing heart and energy. I appreciate their team understanding the importance of supporting a non-profit organization like AACRAO to further our mission."

CollegeSource creates software solutions for degree audit, academic planning, scheduling, and transfer credit evaluation and articulation used by more than 2,000 colleges and universities serving more than 70 percent of students across the U.S. It has been the sole sponsor of the AACRAO Technology and Transfer Conference since 2016, and prior to that sponsored the independent Transfer Conference. Representatives also attend AACRAO’s Annual Meeting and SEM Conference, as well as many state and regional gatherings.

“A strong AACRAO is good for everyone -- the staff in the Registrars’ and Admissions offices, faculty, and institutions as a whole -- which ultimately benefits students,” said Alanna Fenton-Esquinas, Director of Marketing at CollegeSource. “Anything we can do as a vendor partner to support our customers and the Higher Ed community, we want to do. Budgets are tight and people are taking on more and more responsibilities; we want them to be able to lean on professional organizations and their peers -- such as AACRAO and its members -- for best practices and support in the work they’re doing.”

“CollegeSource software primarily supports registrars, directors of admissions, and college advisors -- two of those three roles are directly served by AACRAO,” said CollegeSource President Troy Holaday. “We want AACRAO to continue as the fountainhead organization for these professions. The Technology and Transfer Conferences are an important space for us all to gather and share knowledge. It is just as important to us, as software designers and corporate partners, to grow from the exchange of ideas as it is for registrars and admissions professionals.”

Conferences are key places to build and maintain relationships, stay abreast of evolving and emerging concerns, and exchange ideas and solutions. Learn more about AACRAO’s 2019 Technology and Transfer Conference, July 14-16 in Las Vegas.
