Wendy Lin-Cook, Ph.D., serves as Vice Provost for Enrollment Management at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, an R1 STEM intensive research university in Troy, New York. She leads undergraduate admissions, financial aid, pipeline programs, international recruitment, and online and professional education strategy.
With more than twenty years of enrollment management experience spanning community colleges, comprehensive universities, and research institutions, Wendy has built a career on widening access and reimagining how students move through the admissions and success journey. Prior to RPI, she served as Vice President for Enrollment Management at Montclair State University, where she grew enrollment substantially over five years, an increase of roughly 26 percent. During that period she unified undergraduate admissions, graduate recruitment, international enrollment, online education, and pathway programs under a single structure, and she guided enrollment strategy through the Bloomfield College merger. Her earlier roles include positions at NJIT and Seton Hall University.
A first generation college graduate, Wendy describes that experience as foundational to her enrollment philosophy. She holds a Ph.D. from Seton Hall University. Her work increasingly focuses on applying AI agent ecosystems across the student lifecycle, a body of research she pursues alongside her operational leadership.”
