Dr. Pearson

Dr. Pearson (she/her) has over 10 years of experience in public, 4-year higher education institutions. She has experience in admissions, enrollment management, orientation, first-year experience, student accountability, retention, and academic advising. She serves as the Associate Dean of Students and Director of the Center for Orientation, Retention, and Exploration at Old Dominion University–overseeing the new student experience, exploratory advising, major exploration, and student success programs and initiatives. Dr. Pearson earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Mississippi and her Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education from Florida State University.
