Brian Dalton, Ph.D., is the vice president for Enrollment and College Relations at Allegheny College. Dalton has served successfully in senior enrollment management capacities at institutions in Pennsylvania, Texas, Georgia, and Minnesota. He holds a BA in political science and an MA in public administration from Gannon University, and a PhD in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Patricia Somers, Ph.D., is an associate professor of higher education at University of Texas at Austin. Somers specializes in research on the college student experience in the Americas. She received the doctorate from the University of New Orleans, and holds a BA in Spanish and an MA in Portuguese. She has worked at public and private universities in Ohio, Illinois, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, and Brazil.
