Welcome to the new AACRAO website. While the site is live, development is ongoing, visitors can expect updates and new features in the weeks ahead.

SEM Quarterly will welcome seven new editorial board members this November. They include: Brett Bruner, Wichita State University; Shaimaa Hassanein, American University in Cairo; Derek Kindle, University of Oregon; Jenna Lenhardt, Virginia Commonwealth University; Kelley Lips, Emory University; Amanda Ostreko, University of Kansas; Jennifer Passenti, Lackawanna College.

“We’re excited to welcome this new cohort of SEM leaders. Their broad range of expertise and perspectives will be a valuable asset to the journal as they help advance the board’s efforts in shaping research and best practice content in SEM,” said Managing Editor Heather Zimar.

The editors of SEM Quarterly would also like to extend sincere appreciation to the outgoing editorial board members. Their years of service and dedication have been invaluable. These individuals provided critical guidance on the journal’s strategic direction and rigorously reviewed submissions, ensuring that all published articles met the journal’s high research standards and were relevant to the field.

Outgoing board members include:

  • Kimberly Benns, LaSalle University (2019-2025)

  • Chuck Knepfle, Portland State University (2019-2025)

  • Stephanie Krusemark, Starr King School for the Ministry (2022-2025)

  • Diane Treis, University of Wisconsin (2019-2025)

SEMQ’s continuing board members are:
