In celebration of AANHPI Heritage, prepare to join us in May and June for:
May 29, 3:00-4:00 p.m. ET: Join us for the “Navigating the In-Between: A Conversation with Dr. Joan Sung, Author of Kinda Korean” webinar. Following her impactful plenary at the 2024 PACRAO Annual Conference, Dr. Sung joins us to share her journey of navigating identity as a Korean woman and first-generation American—including her experiences overcoming microaggressions, stereotypes, and family trauma. As a former higher education professional, Dr. Sung’s insights are particularly relevant for AACRAO members seeking to foster inclusive environments.
June 30, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET: Sign up for our “AANHPI Caucus Book Discussion with the Author: Kuleana by Sara Kehaulani Goo” webinar. Participants will be able to discuss themes from the book and pose questions to the author herself. We encourage participants to read the book if possible, but those who cannot are still encouraged to attend.
Join our AACRAO Exchange community to discuss a range of enrollment industry topics and share advice.
