Serving as a member of the office’s senior leadership team, the Associate Director of Admissions for Operations manages and oversees the admissions operations and credit evaluation functions.  This includes oversight of application platforms (Common App and institutional application), admission decision processes, and transcript and other document processing and evaluation functions.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Manage and oversee application and transcript business processes, data capture, document management, application processing and decisioning, and notification functions.
  • Ensure effective and user-friendly application processes for students and admission team members. This includes designing applications and supervising the processing of applications, transcripts, and other documents.
  • Lead the processing and credit evaluation teams and ensure they have consistent routines and protocols surrounding daily activities.
  • Manage the execution of all internal admission processes, including applications, communications, flow, and troubleshooting. Monitor response time to meet office goals.
  • Liaise with CRM administrators to ensure the system is working effectively and identify system improvements.
  • Develop and improve operational efficiency. Assess operations to streamline processes and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collect and analyze undergraduate admissions data. Compile reports to inform predictive enrollment model efforts.
  • Evaluate and implement operating procedures. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders concerning policies and procedures.
  • Evaluate student-athlete compliance issues with athletic department personnel as needed.
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and supervise staff and student employees.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
  • Five years’ relevant experience.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
     

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Master’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
