The Enrollment Counselor serves as a member of the Admissions team, focusing on supporting prospective students from acceptance through matriculation. This role will be responsible for managing a student caseload which includes handling incoming contacts, conducting outreach, reading applications, and meeting with students on campus. Evening and weekend work is required. Person may be required to use personal vehicle for visitations with mileage reimbursement at the current College rate. Occasional nighttime driving required. Based on minimum education and experience qualifications the yearly salary range is $53,000 – $62,000.

Minimum education and experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Experience in college admissions preferred, or related professional experience in marketing/sales, customer service, human services or education 

Minimum abilities and skills:

  • Developed organizational skills.
  • Sensitivity to the expectations of students, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing assignments and multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with diverse groups.
  • Evidence of strong written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise independent judgment in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Solid technical skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
  • Evidence of a strong customer-service orientation.
  • Ability to conduct admissions activities with the highest level of integrity.
  • Valid and in State Driver’s License.
