NEW Closing Plenary Speaker

Due to an unforeseen scheduling conflict with Danny Glover, we will not feature the “In Conversation with Danny Glover and Felix Justice” closing session this year. However, both presenters have already committed to delivering the closing plenary at the 2017 Annual Meeting in Minneapolis.

AACRAO is thrilled to announce that New York Times Best Selling Author Dave Barry will be in Phoenix as our closing plenary speaker. Dave Barry has been a professional humorist ever since he discovered that professional humor was a lot easier than working. For many years he wrote a newspaper column that appeared in more than 500 newspapers and generated thousands of letters from readers who thought he should be fired. Despite this, Barry won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary. Join us for an hour of laughter as Barry shares his thoughts on “The World According to Dave.”
