It is expected that by 2025 national exams will no longer be done on paper, this being a measure of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR) sent to Brussels.
According to the “Jornal de Notícias” on Wednesday, the PRR defines 12 million euros for the gradual change in the external assessment. The investment will allow for a gradual increase in the number of events covered by 2025.
The PRR is still awaiting approval, but an allocation of 559 million euros is foreseen for pedagogical innovation and the development of digital skills. It should be noted that this year the 3rd, 6th and 9th grade tests to assess the impact of distance learning were carried out in digital format.
