Morocco’s regional baccalaureate exams are set to take place between October 1-3, the Ministry of Education announced today.
Regional baccalaureate exams are the tests that students in Morocco take at the end of the second year of high school. Students take the exams in secondary subjects, depending on their branch of studies. The regional exams make up 25% of the overall mark of baccalaureate in Morocco.

In view of the ongoing events in certain countries of the Near and Middle East as well as in Mali, the Ministry of National Education, in conjunction with the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, is fully mobilized to provide the necessary support to all of its staff and students.
During the ordinary session of the Council of Ministers held, the President of the Transition gave new directives concerning the organization of national examinations.
This morning, around a hundred students gathered in front of the school gates to protest a situation they consider unfair: several courses could not be completed, and the exam material is sometimes still unknown a week before the session.
