The initiative aims to help soldiers complete their secondary education; the program is designed to be completed within a one-year period.
The authorities of the Ministry of Education, together with the Armed Forces (FFAA), launched the Accelerated High School Diploma in Sciences and Humanities with Military Orientation , aimed at soldiers seeking to complete their secondary education.
The accelerated high school program is designed to be completed in a period of one year, representing a viable alternative for those soldiers who, due to their responsibilities, have not been able to continue their studies.
Its curriculum includes a total of 16 curricular spaces distributed over two semesters, combining a hybrid modality that includes face-to-face classes and distance tutoring.
The design facilitates the participation of the military without affecting their operational duties, explained the Education authorities.
The high school program started on March 16th and will run until December, taking place simultaneously in five institutes in different regions of the country.
The program is focused on members of the Army, Air Force, Navy, as well as special forces and other agencies who completed up to the ninth grade.
Military authorities stated that this initiative not only seeks to grant a high school diploma, but also to strengthen the intellectual capabilities of soldiers, complementing their military training with academic knowledge.
They highlighted that the hybrid modality incorporates virtual tools and asynchronous learning systems, allowing greater flexibility for participants based on their schedules and responsibilities.
Military authorities indicated that the program represents an opportunity for personal growth for each member of the Armed Forces, promoting the development of skills that can positively impact their performance within the institution.
