The high school diploma certificate can be obtained online and is free of charge. This was announced by the Ministry of Education in a statement on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.
A digital platform is available to carry out the procedure from anywhere. All that is needed is the ID number or the two surnames of the graduate.
After adding the data, you must complete the security check by typing the text that appears in an image . The record immediately appears available with the option to print the document.
A PDF file is displayed with information about the bachelor’s degree, institution, specialization, and years of completion of studies. It has an authorized signature and the date and time when it was issued.
If there are inconsistencies in the information, or the title does not appear registered, the concern can be submitted through the same website.
The Ministry points out that this tool guarantees “the validity and authenticity of the Bachelor’s degree, ensuring that it was issued by a legally authorized educational institution .”
In addition, the certificate can be obtained by anyone who has graduated in Ecuador or abroad with a homologation procedure .
