During the ordinary session of the Council of Ministers held on Thursday, May 8, 2026, the President of the Transition gave new directives concerning the organization of national examinations.
Referring to the disruptions that occurred during the 2025 exit exams, including the postponement of some tests, the Head of State instructed the relevant ministerial departments to take all necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of the upcoming national assessments.
According to the official report, he recalled that the previous year had been marked by “malfunctions that led to postponements and disrupted the candidates’ peace of mind.” He thus warned that he “would not tolerate a repeat of such incidents.”
The president also stressed the need to accelerate the marking of exam papers and to seriously consider the possibility of organizing make-up sessions, particularly for baccalaureate candidates.
Through these guidelines, the Head of State intends to promote a culture of merit and excellence within the Guinean education system.
