Plans to catch WA school students who use artificial intelligence to cheat in high-stakes online writing exams have been revealed in tender documents.
In another sign of the impact that AI tools such as ChatGPT are having on schools, documents lodged last week show the Education Department is seeking an automated “plagiarism detection” system that will also check for content written by chatbots.
