Dates of the Selectividad 2021

The university entrance exams, known as Selectividad, will be marked for another year by the Covid pandemic.  Some details of the call for  2021  are already known  , which will be in the month of June and which, like that of 2020, will be governed by the health protocol.

The dates of the exams will be June 15, 16 and 17  in their ordinary call.  For the extraordinary, several aspects remain to be decided, including the days. 

The June date will be maintained if the current situation is maintained, although it is not ruled out that there may be changes, as happened last year.  In 2020 the Selectivity was scheduled for June and finally it was held between July 7 and 9, unpublished dates, after those that have been usually set for the ordinary calls for the Baccalaureate Assessment Tests for University Access (  Evau  ).

The Secretary General of Universities, Jose Manuel Pingarrón  , recently indicated in statements collected by Efe that the tests to access the University for this course will not have "substantial" changes but will be held "probably" on the dates they were made before the pandemic.  In addition, he announced that "practically the same criteria" will be maintained to guarantee "the quality of the evidence."

The development of the tests under the anticovid  protocols  will  force that yes to increase the number of venues in the case of the University of Granada, as it already did in the ordinary and extraordinary calls of 2020. Each year about 5,000 are presented to the Selectividad in Granada students, most of them in the second year of Baccalaureate.
