AACRAO released the Comprehensive Learner Record (CLR) Phase II Report and it is available for download now

In November 2017, AACRAO was awarded $1.19M in a grant from Lumina Foundation to expand its prior work on new forms of student records that were focused on learning or competencies of postsecondary education.

Phase II of this project sought to expand the understanding and use of Comprehensive Learner Records among as many as 150 campuses. This phase of the project also endeavored to clarify what a CLR is and its benefits.

During Phase I the challenge of integrating data across information platforms in higher education was identified as one of the significant barriers to the broad adoption of CLRs. Phase II addressed this challenge by creating a work team of experienced and tech-savvy registrars who were aware of the limitations of information systems.

This project was supported by a core team of dedicated higher education professionals including:

From the inception of this project, Lumina Foundation has been fundamental to its success and completion.
