Bio
Tashana Curtis serves as the Registrar at Shepherd University, leading the Office of the
Registrar within Academic Affairs. With more than twenty years of experience in higher
education administration, she has held progressive roles across registrar operations,
enrollment services, academic policy, and student support.
Her work focuses on modernizing academic and enrollment processes, strengthening
compliance, and improving the student experience through clear communication and
efficient systems. She has contributed to major implementations and optimizations of
student information systems, degree audit platforms, electronic workflows, and reporting
structures.
Tashana is student centered and committed to equitable access, operational excellence,
and collaborative problem solving. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science
from Troy University, a Graduate Certificate in Leadership & Management, and an M.S.
from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She continues to advance her
expertise through national professional engagement.
