Scot Lingrell, Ph.D., is the first-ever Vice Chancellor of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs in the University System of Georgia. He has worked in the University System of Georgia for more than 20 years, most recently as vice president for enrollment management at Georgia Southern. Prior to that, he was the vice president for student affairs and enrollment management at The University of West Georgia. He started his career in Ohio and Michigan, earning his Master’s in College Student Personnel at Bowling Green State University and his Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Ohio University. Lingrell was the first recipient of the AACRAO SEM Award of Excellence for outstanding achievement and visionary leadership in SEM at four-year institutions in 2009.
