Dr. Sabrina L. Brown is the Assistant Dean for Graduate Enrollment Management at UNC Charlotte, where she leads institution-wide strategies to strengthen graduate enrollment, optimize admissions operations, and support student success. With more than 15 years of experience in higher education, she has held leadership roles spanning recruitment, admissions, enrollment strategy, communications, and student affairs.

In her current role, Dr. Brown oversees graduate enrollment management initiatives for one of North Carolina’s largest public research universities, partnering with academic and administrative leaders to advance recruitment, admissions, and student engagement efforts. Her work focuses on sustainable enrollment management practices, data-informed decision-making, strategic planning, and the development of systems and processes that improve institutional effectiveness.

Dr. Brown is actively involved in the National Association for Graduate Enrollment Management (NAGAP), where she serves as Chapters Chair on the Board of Directors and supports leadership development and chapter engagement across the association. She also serves as Board Secretary for the Youth Development Initiative, Inc., a Charlotte-based nonprofit focused on helping young people build pathways to educational and career success.

A proud alumna of UNC Charlotte, Dr. Brown earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from UNC Charlotte, a Master of Education in Counselor Education: Student Affairs from Clemson University, a Master of Business Administration from Tennessee Technological University, and a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from Tennessee State University. Her professional and scholarly interests include enrollment management, leadership development, organizational culture, and the experiences of Black women in higher education leadership.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Brown is an avid traveler and enthusiast of live performances. She enjoys exploring new cultures and spending quality time with her loved ones and her cat, Riley.
