Nilvio Perez

 Nilvio Perez currently serves as the Director of First Year Admissions at Southern Connecticut State University. Nilvio has over 20 years of experience in admissions and most recently worked at Central Connecticut State University, where he served as Associate Director of Recruitment and Admissions since 2015. Prior to that he spent 11 years at Albertus Magnus College, including five as director. His career in admissions kicked off at the University of Bridgeport, also his undergraduate alma mater. Nilvio has been involved with national and regional admissions associations, including co-chairing NEACAC’s Students in Admissions Forum, serving as an officer for the CT Association for College Admissions Officers, presenting at various conferences, serving on panels and offering keynote speeches. Nilvio has a strong track record of engagement in each of the higher education communities of which he has been a part, from advising student clubs and organizations, participating in campus programs and supporting the arts, athletics and more.
