Kimberly A. Barber, Ph.D., is Assistant Vice Provost and University Registrar in the Division of Enrollment Management at Florida State University, where she has served since 1996. She leads university-wide academic policy implementation and oversees registrar operations, including registration, records and transcripts, degree clearance, catalog and scheduling, and commencement. Barber has led major cross-functional initiatives in student systems, privacy, and data governance. She has deep knowledge of education systems and is a leader in academic continuity operations during university emergencies. An active higher-education professional, she has presented at regional, state, and national meetings and held leadership roles in both SACRAO and FACRAO. Barber earned her B.A. in English (Creative Writing) from Florida State University and later completed an M.S. and Ph.D. in Instructional Systems.
