Jill Pierson has spent more than 20 years in higher education, including the last 11 years focused on Registrar work at community colleges. Her experience also includes roles as a high school English teacher and adjunct faculty member, giving her a well-rounded perspective on the student and academic experience. Through this work, she has seen firsthand the transformative impact community colleges have on learners from all backgrounds and the vital role these institutions play in their communities. This has fueled her passion for elevating the voices of community colleges and helping others better understand their place within higher education.
In her current role as Registrar at College of DuPage, Jill has led and supported initiatives related to placement, microcredentials and badging, and technology enhancements designed to improve efficiency within the Office of Student Records and Registration. She is excited to bring her experience, insight, and enthusiasm to Hill Day.
